​Cognitive Cost
Also called Executive Function, represents the effort to plan and organize a Wellness Visit. Our process minimizes cognitive cost by dividing the healthcare journey into discreet and easy steps.
Cash Equivalence
Cash rewards provide unambiguous value. Non-cash or use-limited incentives may be valued lower depending on individual preference. WellerU uses cash denominated Amazon.com electronic gift cards to achieve near-cash basis.
Present Bias
Immediately delivering $1 of incentive reward following the completion of a task is worth $1 to the participant. People tend to hyperbolically discount delayed rewards. WellerU delivers rewards to the participant's account immediately after validating participant actions.
Skill Gaps
Navigating the healthcare system is complicated. Some people may not yet have learned the skills to access the incentivized service. WellerU's app-based tool provides assistance every step of the way to reduce the learning curve and avoid confusion.
