Medicare Advantage

Our initial Target Market is Medicare Advantage.  Regulatory disruption is likely to cause Payers serving this market to seek new solutions for documenting risk.  WellerU provides that solution by creating the Face-to-Face Care Encounters necessary to link diagnoses for purposes of Risk submissions

A large majority of people living in America today have access to free Preventive Services. Some common types of healthcare insurance also include Marketplace, Managed Medicaid, and Commercial (employer) plans. We plan to serve these markets in the future.

Each of these coverage options is required by law to provide certain Preventive Services free of charge.  This includes an Annual Wellness Visit with the covered individual's Primary Care Provider to include:

  • a medical history review,

  • screenings,

  • certain indicated tests & immunizations,

  • a physical exam and

  • counseling to prevent future health problems.

Why Preventive Care Matters

More than 90% of type 2 diabetes, 80 percent of coronary artery disease, 70 percent of stroke, and 70 percent of colon cancer are potentially preventable by a combination of nonsmoking, avoidance of overweight, moderate physical activity, healthy diet, and moderate alcohol consumption. This accounts for approximately 25% of all 3.2 million deaths in the United States annually.

Adolescence and young adulthood present important opportunities to improve health across the lifespan through prevention and early intervention services. Higher rates of preventive services associated with preventive visits support its clinical care value.
